Marsalforn is a fishing village on the north coast, it is the most popular summer resort of Gozo. The village is small in size this means that everywhere is within walking distance.  The seaside resort is well served with hotels, apartment, restaurants, bars, as well as diving centers.    

Marsalforn is very tranquil in the off-peak seasons but comes to life during the warm summer evenings were it is very popular with Gozitans, particularly on Sundays.  During these days people relax over al fresco meals, and meeting friends on the promenade for walks and talks. 

A scene promenade leads, from Marsalfron to Qbajjar and Xwejni where a number of saltpans dating from Roman times are still in use.
